Bermudagrass, Riviera and Princess

HYBRID BERMUDAGRASS - King's Seed typically has in stock either Riviera or Princess 77 varieties of hybrid bermudagrass for lawns. The hybrid varieties require more maintenance to keep the desired look which is commonly compared to a golf course putting green. It is typically mowed twice a week with a reel type mower to a height of 3/4 of an inch. Please call for availability as this is a specialty item and both varieties are not always in stock. Planting rate is 1 - 2 pounds per 1000 sq ft.   Bermudagrass thrives on fertilizer. After your lawn is established you should apply fertilizer to Bermuda two to three times during the growing season. We recommend that you do not apply fertilizer onto your seed until after the second mowing.
