King’s South Texas Native Grass Mix

King’s South Texas Native Mix is a pre-mixed blend that is made up of grass varieties that do particularly well in South Texas. The mix of natives can be used for a variety of uses and is recommended for use in attracting wildlife, erosion control on highway right-of-ways, and rangeland plantings in South Texas. This mix is great for restoring quail habitat. Our growers have even commented on seeing quail return to the fields after planting our Texas Native plots.

*If a specific mix is required, a custom mix can be prepared for your particular region.

Our Texas Natives are certified “Selected Texas Native Germplasm” by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Each variety is of a specific ecotype of its species that was locally sourced from counties in Texas.
