Scarlet Sage (Tropical Sage, Red Salvia)

Scarlet sage is a native, warm season perennial wildflower that grows 1-3’ tall. It produces numerous red blooms and is an excellent pollinator and hummingbird attractant. In fall the blooms attract monarchs. Scarlet sage is extremely shade tolerant and is a good choice for areas beneath large trees.
