Standing Cypress (Fire on the mountain)

Standing cypress is a native, warm season perennial wildflower that grows 3-5” tall. It produces numerous showy red blooms and is an excellent pollinator plant. Hummingbirds also readily utilize the species when in bloom. Standing cypress grows best in well drained soils in full sun to partial shade. It is also deer resistant.
