A warm season annual legume, that grows 2 to 3 foot tall. Soybeans produce high protein forage and grain that will be utilized by wildlife. Soybeans have a longer growth period than most, which make them a great source of protein forage in the spring. Soybeans are drought tolerant and do well in poor soil since they affix nitrogen in the soil. They will, however, benefit from fertile soil .
