Cool Season Wildlife Food Plots
Cool season loosely refers to the fall and winter. Typically, cool season plants are planted between September 15 to December 31. These plants are frost tolerant or tolerant of cool temperatures, which means they prefer to grow when the temperatures are moderate to cool.
Our items can be purchased individually or in mixes. Mixes create a diversity of nutrition and production, so there will be food available at different times of year.
Cool Season Mixes
Our two fall food plot blends can planted either immediately before, or at the start of hunting season to attract deer. The most important thing that fall food plots offer is a supplemental food source for deer and other game during a time of year when most natural vegetation has gone dormant. The combination of plants in these blends are high in protein, which aids in body and antler development.
