Short Description:
Plains coreopsis is a native, warm season annual wildflower that grows 1-3’ in height at maturity. It grows on most soil types and in all regions of Texas. It produces copious blooms of yellow flowers with black centers. Plains coreopsis is a hardy wildflower and will bloom throughout the year with moisture. Planting: Rangeland Plantings: Plant in the fall or early spring at a rate of 2-3 lbs. pure live seed per acre at ¼ to ½ inch deep. Landscape Plantings: Plant 1-2 lbs. PLS per 1,000 ft2.
