Description
Brewster Sideoats Grama is a native, warm season perennial bunchgrass that grows 3-5’ at maturity. This selection originates from and is well adapted to the Trans Pecos, Rolling Plains, and western Edwards Plateau. Sideoats grama is good livestock forage and provides important cover for wildlife, especially as a nesting substrate for quail. It is adapted to most soil types with the exception of very sandy soils. Best uses are for range and wildlife habitat restoration and revegetation of energy and transportation right-of-ways.
