KING'S TROPHY FORAGE PLUS

Short Description: King’s Trophy Forage Plus is a deer food plot seed mixture of oats, wheat, triticale, cereal rye, hairy vetch, and Austrian winter peas. It can also be used for winter livestock forage plantings. The addition of winter peas helps add extra protein to the mix and nitrogen to the soil. This mix is composed of easy to establish, highly nutritious, and palatable forages intended not only to attract deer in the fall, but to provide protein and nutrients during the winter/early spring months, when deer need to regain weight and begin early antler development. This mix can also provide forage for livestock in fall, winter, and early spring. Please call to place an order (210) 661-4191.

Description

King’s Trophy Forage Plus is a cool season deer food plot seed mixture of oats, wheat, triticale, cereal rye, Austrian winter peas, and hairy vetch. The addition of winter peas and vetch to the annual cereal grains helps add extra protein to the mix and nitrogen to the soil. This mix is composed of highly nutritious and palatable forages intended not only to attract deer in the fall, but to provide protein and nutrients during the winter and early spring months, when deer need to regain weight and begin early antler development.  This mix will also provide excellent foraging areas for quail and turkeys in late spring and early summer during nesting and brood rearing seasons. If allowed to mature, plots planted in Trophy Forage Plus can provide good dove hunting.  Trophy Forage Plus is a mixture of easy to establish annual species that are broadly adapted to a wide range of locations and planting conditions.
