Description
King’s Texas Right of Way Wildflower Mix is a blend of
low growing native wildflowers for roadsides, rights of way, and commercial
applications. This mix contains 9 broadly adapted native wildflowers that
grow 1-3 feet in height. Components include high percentages of desirable
Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Blanket, as well as smaller amounts of Blackeyed
Susan, Clasping Coneflower, Plains Coreopsis, Lanceleaf Coreopsis, Mexican Hat,
Lemon Mint, and Pink Evening Primrose. Blooms begin as early as
late February in southern parts of the state, and will continue until fall with
adequate moisture. This mix provides excellent habitat for wildlife and
pollinators. It is also recommended for use in combination with native
grass blends or for overseeding to increase diversity and support
beautification efforts.
