Short Description: King’s South Texas Native Grass Seed Mix is a pre-mixed blend that is made up of native grass varieties that do particularly well in South Texas. The mix of natives can be used for a variety of uses and is recommended for use in attracting and providing for wildlife, erosion control on highway or pipeline right-of-ways, and rangeland plantings in South Texas. This mix is great for restoring quail habitat, providing for livestock on native range, or for reestablishing cover after energy exploration. Our growers have even commented on seeing quail return to the fields after planting our Texas Native plots. Many of the varieties included in this mix were developed by the South Texas Natives and Texas Native Seeds Projects of the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, and the USDA NRCS South Texas Plant Materials Center. Each selection in the blend originates from native plants originally growing the South Texas or adjacent regions, and has been tested for consistent performance, long-term adaptation, and proven benefits to wildlife, rangelands, and the local ecosystem. *If a specific mix is required, a custom mix can be prepared for your particular region. Our Texas Natives are certified as “Selected Texas Native Germplasm” by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Each variety is of a specific ecotype of its species that was locally sourced from native plants in Texas.

All payments are final and no refunds will be processed.   All orders are processed within 2-3 business days.
